And it's just going to get worse. This punk was arrested at The Square - same exact place where they (City of Novato) wants to put extensive low income - high density housing. There are drug deals going down, punks hanging out, yet Novato PD can't or won't do a thing to deter this. Can't imagine what they will do when all of the low income thugs are imported from out of the area.

I pass this shopping center every day on my way home from work and it's pitiful that the NPD do nothing. I'll call them and send in a formal complaint every now and then, so that the kids get cleared out. Remove that Cigerette shop and they won't hang out anymore. The sad part of it all is that their parents are enabling them. Teens out of school with no job, no will, only to disrupt a really nice town. I wish I could go down there with my baseball bat, and go old school on their ass, but that wouldn't be good for a father of three. The County D/A says that they can't do anything as it's private property (Marin Square).

You obviously have not lived in Marin for very long if you think that this is a new problem here. You should have seen it in the 70's and 80's. Kids have been steeling pot in this county for as long as people have been growing pot in this county. It has nothing to do with Liberals or Conservatives.
